Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have had Good academic record and possess the qualification of Master’s Degree level with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from an accredited foreign University for Assistant Professor (arts, Humanities, Science, Social Science, Commerce, Education, Languages, Law) for General Degree Colleges. Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. Rs.210/- only by Indian Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. SC/ ST candidates of west Bengal and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying application fee.
