The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. During its 64 years of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards.ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the whole world.
ICAI requires technically par excellence professionally successful and academically brilliant
human resources at various levels for being part of IT Directorate & Public Relation Committee.
The ICAI is the apex accountancy body established under the Act of Parliament for regulating
the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. During its glorious existence of sixty- four
years, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accountancy body not only in South Asian
region but globally as well.
Present total monthly emoluments inclusive of Basic Pay, DA at Central Govt. rates, HRA at
35% of Basic Pay and Transport subsidy will be approximately:
1. Assistant Secretary Rs. 62,893
2. Executive Officer Rs. 53,443
3. Section Officer Rs. 41,110
4. Assistant Rs. 35,575
