Chandigarh Education Department has issued notification for recruitment of 329 Clerk, Steno-Typist (Common Cadre) & Lower Division Clerk (LDC) vacancies in the Engineering Department, Chandigarh Administration on regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply online from 12-10-2015 (09.00 AM onwards) to 02-11-2015 (upto 05.00 PM)

2. Steno Typist (Common Cadre): 30 Posts
3. Lower Division Clerk (Engg. Deptt.): 42 Posts
4. Steno Typist (Engg. Deptt.): 04 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ Institution and Proficiency in Operation of Computer (Word Processing and Spread Sheets).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on type-test, written test & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.400/- for General Category & Dependants of Ex-Servicemen candidates (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ OBC/ PH/ ESM candidates).
